Faith - Hero's of Faith

If we want to grow in our Faith then we should chose to obey God’s Word. Real Faith in the Lord will make a person move to obey God’s Word. That is how the person will let go off something and receive something new from the Lord.

Why Christians are acting like small babies ? Only because they don’t obey God’s Word. Therefore they are baby Christians and live defeated lives.  

Jeremiah 7:23,The Lord says,” Obey My voice and I will be Your God and you shall be My people. Walk in all thy ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well with you”

Jeremiah 7:24, The Lord says, ”Yet they did not obey nor incline their ear but followed the counsels and dictates of their evil hearts and went backward not forward” 

If we have Faith then let us submit to God’s Word and obey God’s Word. That will change and transform us. When we obey God’s Word , the pure Word of God will purify us. 

Great moves of God are usually followed by simple acts of obedience. To succeed and live a life of blessing we must train our soul and body to obey to God's Word. 

We must chose to obey God’s Word every time. And if we cannot let us ask the help of the Holy Spirit and obey God’s Word. 

*Chose to obey God’s Word and God’s voice and nothing else, Voice of the world, Voice of the people, Voice of demons , Voice of self. All these voices when listened to  lead us away from God and displease God bringing suffering and making us loose the blessings of the Lord. Only God’s Word and the voice of Lord takes us towards God, pleases HIM and in turn brings abundant blessings. Being God's children we must be careful to discern the voice of the Lord from all the other voices. Some/Many of God's children hear self/demon/people voices and follow it - the result is problems, suffering and failures. 

GOD expects us to obey Him at all times... even for small things.. Sometimes we like to go our own way and make our own pursuits only because we cannot humble to God's Word.Disobedience brings unhappiness, trouble and sorrow to the heart. 

If a man obeys God's Word, it brings Joy, blessings and deeper soul satisfaction .

Blessed is the man who chooses to Obey God. 

Heb 11:4 – “By Faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying his gifts and through it he being dead still speaks” 

Whatever we do to the Lord should be of  Faith. God honours Faith and rewards. Abel's offering was outoff faith and Cain was not.Therefore Abel's Faith was justified and Cain was not. Our prayers, worship, obedience to God's  Word, Fellowship with the Church and Service to the Lord are accepted and justified when it is done outoff faith. 

Heb. 11:7 - "By faith Noah, when warned about things not yet seen, in holy fear built an ark to save his family. By his faith he condemned the world and became heir of the righteousness that is in keeping with faith" 

In those times, people laughed at what Noah was doing - building the ark and warning people to get right with God. Yes, getting ready for the rapture (running to the church and prayer) is obedience to God sometimes make people mock at us. If the Lord has spoken even if people oppose or circumstances do not support paying heed to God is all that matters. Paying heed will bless and save our soul from every trouble and calamity.

Heb 11:4 – “By Faith Abel offered God a better   sacrifice than Cain did. By faith he was commended as a righteous man , when God spoke well of his offerings.And by faith he still speaks even though he died " 

Abraham's relatives were idol worshipers and people of the world. God had great plans for Abraham and God's purpose was to make him the Father of Faith and therefore told him to leave his relatives. Abraham obeyed God and left his relatives. This is True Obedience. God will tell us to do certain things and we need to obey. This truly blesses us. 

God simply told Joshua to have the people to march around Jericho for six days priests blowing their trumpets, and then, after seventh round to shout. Though it seemed foolish, Joshua followed God’s instructions.When the people made the last round shouted, the walls collapsed and Israel won the victory.It was when the people of God, by faith, followed the commands of God that the walls of Jericho fell down - Joshua 6:20. 

When God spoke to Joshua : Joshua obeyed the voice of the Lord even when it's was not sensible.

Our Success is based on our Faith. How will God use us is based on Our Faith ? We must Trust Him and believe with all our hearts,  but many times we struggle in our Faith. If it's on Jesus then we can see great results. But if it's on something else like men, money, status, friends, fame we will not get much (No result). 

Let us learn to Trust the Lord all the time even if there is a delay , the Lord will surely do great things.
